The Power of Student Creativity: Webinar

Why would a world-renowned design agency hire a kid-in-residence? According to an article from Ideo:

1. Kids don’t know the rules
2. Kids are buzzword bloodhounds
3. Kids are full of surprises
4. Kids are the future of great design

Young students look at the world in a unique way. Unlike adults, they don't limit themselves with boundaries, rules, and the norm. After several years of working closely with students, we learned that design thinking enhances students' creativity beyond our expectations when tackling tough and complex challenges. The students became the problem-solver for organizations while gaining valuable skills for themselves at the same time.

Bright Spark is Bridge Innovate's social innovation designed to ignite creative confidence with students and educators using design thinking. This year, Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) is sponsoring one of our challenge topics for the Student Design Competition. Their challenge topic asks "How might we reimagine the game day experience for students?" On February 7, the challenge sponsors had the opportunity to serve as prototype reviewers to provide valuable feedback to the competing teams. The student teams are now working hard iterating their solutions and prototypes for the final submission!

In this live conversation, we’ll explore how CFC is working to inspire our youth and how the Bright Spark program provides students and educators with a proven process for developing the fundamental skills of creative problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

About the guest speakers
