Bright Spark Student Design Awards has shifted to a virtual event!
Based on input from school district leaders across the region and with the closure of Fulton County Schools in Atlanta due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Bright Spark Student Design Awards will now be a completely online event, hosted via livestream. Please do not travel to Georgia Tech as the in-person event is canceled.
As an audience participant in the Bright Spark Student Design Awards Virtual Program, you can simply connect via Bridge Innovate's YouTube channel. You will also receive a reminder email prior to the event that includes a direct link to the YouTube live stream. School teams, judges, and our keynote speaker will participate in all event activities via a separate email invitation to Zoom® meeting technology.
We are thankful for all of the support of student creativity. This has been a difficult decision to cancel the in-person event but we feel it is necessary to shift to a virtual event keeping student and guest safety at the forefront of our planning.
We recommend subscribing to our YouTube channel, to receive an additional notification when the event goes live.
This year's keynote speaker is Elyse Larouere, Senior Design Lead at The Coca-Cola Company. In addition to working on major campaigns for Coca-Cola, including "Share A Coke," Elyse focuses on inspiring the next generation of makers, builders, and leaders at SHiFT Design Camps.
