Bridge Innovate is thrilled to be partnering with Thrive 2055 and the Lyndhurst Foundation for the design and delivery of the inaugural Thriving Communities Initiative. This collaborative strategic leadership initiative will leverage the best of design thinking and regional assets to fuel a synergistic arts and culture growth strategy for the Chattanooga tri-state region.

Eight communities throughout the region have been selected to participate in the Initiative and explore how arts and cultural resources can stimulate community vibrancy and economic growth. As part of the Initiative, which launched in January 2016, the Bridge team is facilitating a three-month program using design thinking methodology to help community representatives collaborate and create economic development strategies utilizing arts and culture assets.

Over the course of the three-month program, participants will experience each stage of design thinking through the following phases:

  • Design Thinking Crash Course

  • Research & Scan for Inspiration

  • SWARM Accelerated Design Session

  • Prototype, Iteration, & Testing (PIT) Launch

  • Growth Strategy Pitch & Investment Session
