About the Challenge
The Bright Spark Fall 2020 Invention Challenge is a free virtual entrepreneurial innovation competition for 4th-12th grade students hosted by Bridge Innovate.
Students use the design thinking process to identify a real-world problem, empathize, ideate, and prototype an invention.
The theme for the Fall 2020 Invention Challenge is to Identify a community need and design an inventive solution that brings people together.
The final submission is a 90-second pitch video posted on Bridge's Youtube channel for public voting. The top 10 invention videos by age group with the most "likes" become the finalists and are forwarded on to a prestigious panel of judges who select the award winners.
The award winners are recognized at the virtual awards event attended by all participating individuals and teams, and livestreamed to the public.
